Creative Director of Garnazelle Celine Rivet’s childhood was filled with an early appreciation of both the artistic and natural worlds.  She credits for this her father, a renowned art collector who frequently took her to museums, galleries, and fine art auctions; and her grandmother, who lived in the Sologne region of France, where she found a connection to nature.  In Sologne, Garnazelle, meaning “little frog” in a French dialect, became both her nickname and her obsession.

In 2001, Celine founded Garnazelle as an alternative to the jewelry houses of Place Vendome. The Boule D'Amour (or ball of love) ring was launched in 2002 and has become a cornerstone of the collection.  In December of 2004, Celine opened the first Garnazelle boutique in Paris on Rue du Marché St. Honoré. Since the store's opening, Garnazelle has accrued a cult-like following and has expanded its distribution into the United States, Russia, the Emirates and Hong-Kong.
